About Yoga
Poets have waxed eloquent about the Himalayas being the forehead of India, the progenitor of the mother Ganges. The waters blaze suddenly like sapphires catching the light. Through a gap between peaks sunlight stream on to Ganga, the reflections dancing as a sharp wind blows over the waters. The mother Ganges is griddled on three sides by the Himalayan ranges, the mythical abode of gods.
The mother Ganges, originating 3,100 metres higher at Gangotri, emerges from the hills at Rishikesh, its water as clear as crystal. lakhs of pilgrims from India and abroad arrive at Haridwar and Rishikesh in their quest for spirituality, meditation and yoga as the path for self realisation find a perfect setting on the banks of the Ganga serenely coursing through wooded hills.
The word "Yog" comes from Sanskrit broadly meaning the sense of joining and union. Union of body, mind and spirit that helps one bring one's mind to peace and happiness. Once this peace has been established, at the next, more spiritual level, Yog would involve establishing the connection of one's soul with the divine (within the dualistic philosophy) or establishing the stillness and concentration that leads one's soul to higher dimensions (within the non-dualistic philosophy).

Our Mission
NaturOville Yogpeeth has embarked to ignite positive shifts in your life by way of Yoga.Originated in India, yoga is a spiritual practice that has been evolving for the last 5,000 years or so. The yogis were reacting, in part, to India’s ancient Vedic religion, which emphasized rituals. The yogis wanted a direct spiritual experience — one on one — not a symbolic ritual this deep desire to experience direct spiritual experience laid the seed of yoga. Yoga means “union” in Sanskrit, the classical language of India.
Yoga is not just about working out; it’s about a healthy lifestyle. The practice of yoga allows students to find stillness in a world consumed with chaos. Our Mission is to relive your stress, de-clutter your mind as you become more focussed to achieve Peace and tranquillity.
