About the Center


Shala is a place wherein exchange of knowledge takes place. In a shala the duality of a receiver (student) and a giver (teacher) remains throughout the process of learning. Yog Shala on the other is a sacred space where the students present themselves as Seekers and the teacher appears in the form of Guru to share the Knowledge of Yoga and Experience the Self to be Infinite. In the sacred space of Yoga Shala there the seeker and the guru experience communion rather than communication.

Guru – The one who Guides: It is in this space that the guru empowers the seeker not only through ‘articulated talk’ (vaikhari vani) but also through ‘the sound of heart’ (madhyama vani), ‘sound that is perceived only by internal vision’ (pashyanti vani) which is normally known to the yogis of high order and the ‘voice of divine’ (para vani). In the environment of the Yoga Shala there is a possibility that the seekers transcend themselves to the state of a mumukshu – the one who is the ideal seeker and thirsty for the knowledge of ultimate truth.
Transformation at Shiva

Shakti Yoga Shala: The energies of the yoga shala are such that during the process of the Teacher Training Course or by the end of it the guru and the seeker are bound to experience themselves not as two but as one being. To ensure that the energies of the yog shala are pure and from higher dimensions various ritual (homa and havana) are performed in the yoga shala space from time to time.

The seeker can experience the same warmth, care, protection and love in the yoga shala as a child can experience in the mother’s womb. In the environment of yoga shala the practice of the seeker will be nurtured and will gain a progressive trajectory.

Shiva Shakti Yoga teachers are highly qualified and experienced teachers. All are masters in their subjects. All our teachers are Hatha Yogis. The yoga teachers possesses in depth knowledge of study of yoga asana, anatomy and philosophy of yoga. With the teaching qualities as connecting with everyone in the teacher training course, communicating with everyone with no language barrier.

Jagjeet Singh
Jagjeet has in-depth knowledge and has been practicing yoga therapy, Marma therapy, alternative therapy, yoga Asana, pranayama and Mudra bandhs.

Himanshu Sharma
Himanshu Sharma comes from a traditional background. He started his practice of yoga in amazingly peaceful and pure environment. As Yoga is a culture he decided to live it since he was young.

Amey
Being Spiritual is our very nature and Amey realized this when he was introduced to the path of Dnyan Yog and Bhakti Yog. It is during this blissful journey Amey experienced the Higher and Deeper Dimensions of Human Existence.

Neha became a yoga teacher because she believes yoga is a gift and it's such a blessing to share it with everyone. She deeply value her responsibility to push her students to and past their physical limits so they can also live with a fearless approach to life.

Manish Goyal
Yogi Manish Goyal is Yoga Teacher from Jodhpur, the Sun City of India. He entered into the world of spirituality at a young age and was very fascinated by the Yoga and Spiritual practices. He took diksha from Param pujya Swami Satyamitranand giriji maharaj (Founder of Bharat Mata Mandir and Samanvaya Seva trust, Haridwar). Later his fascination turned in to passion for yoga. 

Chidanand
Chidanand is a dynamic teacher whose aim is to add value to people's life by teaching and imparting knowledge of Yoga for the benefit of Human life at all stages. With 15 years of teaching experience to all level of students. Influenced by yoga in early age, his practice and dedication made him decide to take his passion as a aim of life He has also learnt Yoga from world renowned Gurus.

Benu Shreedhar
India has been a land of spirituality and mysticism from the beginning and for thousands a great land in search of something special which can fill their gap in the life. Monasteries are numerous in India who gave shelter to such people and try to encourage them for soul searching.

Martha Taloola
After graduating in Health, Massage and Fitness from Ireland, Martha worked with various organizations. However the deep philosophy of Yoga enthralled her senses and thought of leading more meaningful life elicited her travel to India.

Jagdeep
From the year 2002, when Jagdeep became a Reiki Master, he is healing, helping, encouraging, building, empowering the needy people, and with his help a lot of people came out of their depression, illnesses, pain, worries & developed good health, strength & will power.

Ashwini
Yoga had glimmered interest at a very early age for our pune based yoga expert Ashwini motivating her to travel and pursue yoga as a path in her life. She continued her education to become a yoga instructor with a passion to be an enabler in the mission of empowering the individuals with the wisdom of Yoga.

Shubham
A yoga enthusiast from the age of 13, had always dreamt of being a yoga teacher. He started his yoga practices from a very early age and decided to take Hatha Yoga as a path for his yogic journey.
