Ashcharya Koop Chunar

Also spelt as Acharya Koop, Ashcharya Koop is one of the highly sacred places in Chunar. Often touted as Saint Vitthalnath Prakatya Sthal, this popular tourist site in Chunar is the birthplace of saint Vitthalnath. Vitthalnath was the son of the founder of Pushti Marg ( a school of Vaishnav cult) - saint Vallabhacharya.
