Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium Nagpur
Spread over 33 acres, the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium is newly-built stadium with all the modern facilities and a seating capacity of 45,000. It offers world class training facilities of players and is located along the Hyderabad - Nagpur highway. Undoubtedly one of the best stadiums in the country in terms of infrastructure and facilities, it is not just a stadium but a tourist destination, as it is visited by people even when matches are not going on.
Consisting of 4 stands, the East and West has two tiers and are open-air stands. The North stand consists of three tiers and is the home to the President’s Room, Commercial Box, Board Rooms, Security Central, and Secretary's Box. There are three tiers at the South stand and consist of the gym, media room, and players’ pavilion.
The Vidarbha Stadium can host both day and night matches and the chaired arena has proper roofing ensuring comfort of the spectators. All the stands come with utility foyers to ensure the best for the spectators. The utility services include cafeteria, drinking water, food stalls and much more.
HISTORY OF THE STADIUM
The Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium was built in the year 2008 at Nagpur city. It replaced the old Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground as the main stadium of the city and is one of the important cricket grounds of Maharashtra. It is a top class venue and has been praised by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
It happens to be the home ground for Central Zone and Vidarbha teams for Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy respectively.

GETTING THERE
