The Catholic Cemetery Sardhana

In the vicinity of the Basilica of Our Lady of Grace, Catholic Cemetery is another popular place of tourist interest in Sardhana. This renowned site serves as the resting place of Walter Reinhardt Sombre - husband of Begum Samru, the lady who founded the Church of Sardhana. Along with him, her two sons - Le Vaisseau and Julian Allen were also buried here in this cemetery. At present, this historical site in Sardhana is under the administration of the Archaeological Survey of India.
