Assam State Museum Guwahati

Located at the heart of the city Guwahati, the Assam State Museum is one of the important tourist attractions of the place. This museum was established in the year 1940 by the Kamarupa Anusandhan Samiti. It is said to be one of the biggest multipurpose museums in the country. The museum exhibits different sections like epigraphy, sculptures, crafts, natural history and folk art forms.
