Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur

Lake Palace was originally built in the 18th century as a summer retreat for the royal family. It is located on a small island, in the beautiful waters of Lake Pichola. The backdrop of the splendid white structure is formed by the mountains of Aravalli and the magnificent City Palace.
1n 1971 the palace was put into the hands of the Taj Resorts and Palaces and thus was opened for public accommodation.

There are various categories of rooms to choose from namely Luxury, Palace, Royal Suites, Grand Royal Suites and Grand Presidential Suite. Each category is filled with opulence and royalty, which reaches its peak in the Grand Presidential Suite.

At Jiva spa the treatments are based on the ancient Indian tradition of wellness of mind, body and soul. The treatments are given through natural products in healthy and tranquil atmosphere.

The guests can also avail the treatment on a luxurious boat while floating on the Pichola Lake. The boat is fitted with plush décor and consists of facilities like steam bath and shower. There is an open tub on the deck which offers one to get soaked under the sky while devouring the beautiful scenery all around.
